There are lots of great beaches on the Island, for every taste!
Instead of us re-inventing the wheel, the Chamber of Commerce has a great Beach guide - find it here: https://www.mvy.com/beaches.html
A few extra notes from Sharon and Deb:
Vineyard Haven: There is a tiny beach right near our VH properties. It’s just really the size of the width of a road, but no one goes there and it’s very private and there’s lots of beautiful birds and it’s super close! There should be a map for it in the property.
Vineyard Haven: Lake Tashmoo Town Beach. This is on the map in the Beaches link above. You should Google Map directions from the house, BUT then note this important caveat: When you get to the end of Daggett Ave (you'll stop at a private road), Herring Creek Road on your right is actually broken into 2 quite bumpy dirt roads that run alongside eachother. Make sure to turn right at the SECOND one. The first right is practically impassable! Make sure your car is fit for a bumpy dirt road for this trek.
